Exchanges and Returns

I WOULD LIKE TO EXCHANGE AN ITEM/S

Before making your purchase, please refer to our detailed size guides available for each collection. These guides are there to help you choose the correct size but sometimes, of course, you may want to exchange an item/s for a different size or colour/pattern.   

If you would like to ask for an exchange, please let us know by emailing:  info@theethicalsilkco.com within 14 days of receipt of your order. We will send you our exchanges form that provides the details of where to return the item/s to. The replacement will be shipped to you once we have received and checked for any damage to the item/s. A refund will be given if we don't have the item/s you want in stock.

Please do take the time to read through and check sizing as The Ethical Silk Company will not pay for the cost of exchanges unless the goods are incorrect, faulty or damaged. This does not affect your statutory rights. 

When returning goods, please obtain proof of postage as The Ethical Silk Company cannot accept responsibility for items which fail to reach us.

Please be careful when trying on items as make up, beauty products, tanning lotions and certain deodorants can easily rub off onto the silk. We are unable to refund any items that are marked in anyway.  

Shipping Charges for Exchanges: 

We offer free shipping for items costing £100, $100 or €100 or over and would be glad to offer this for your exchange item/s. If, after receipt of the exchange item/s, you decide you would prefer a full refund, we will return your money (upon receipt of the goods) but will deduct the shipping costs for the exchange item/s. By doing this, it helps us to keep our overall costs as low as possible for our customers. 

Eye Mask Purchases: 

Due to the intimate nature of the use of an eye mask, we are unable to refund or exchange any eye mask purchases.  

I WOULD LIKE A REFUND

We are sure you will be delighted with your purchase and will enjoy it for many years to come. However, if you are not entirely satisfied, please email info@theethicalsilkco.com within 14 days from receipt of your order to let us know why you would like to return an item/s for a refund. We will send you our refunds form that provides the details of where to return your order to. Following this, you then have a further 14 days to return the order to the relevant returns address. Once your parcel is received and the item/s checked for any damage, we will issue a refund (less shipping charges if applicable).

Archive Sale Purchases: 

We are unable to refund items purchased from our Archive Sale. We can offer an exchange if we have the stock available and if not, will issue a credit note. 

Eye Mask Purchases: 

Due to the intimate nature of the use of an eye mask, we are unable to refund or exchange any eye mask purchases.  

A Small, but Important Note About Mulberry Silk:

Please bear in mind that mulberry silk, like all natural materials, can occasionally have a slight irregularity in its weave. Our hand block- printed collections are printed by hand using artisan techniques of block printing. Slight imperfections in colour and patterns are characteristic of block printing, making each piece one of a kind. We see these as a sign of the garment's authenticity and its hand-made beauty.
