Packaging and Gift Wrapping

Like you, we are very keen to make as little impact on our environment as possible. With this in mind, we have given much thought to how we can reduce our packaging, without taking away the joy that's felt when unfurling a beautifully wrapped piece from our mulberry silk collections. 

We have taken the decision to simply, yet beautifully, wrap each piece you order in eco- friendly and compostable tissue paper. We will no longer be placing larger pieces such as our robes, pyjamas and other sleepwear in any further packaging. 

BUT If you would like us to gift wrap your order and pop it in one of our gift bags*, please let us know at the checkout (in the box titled Order Note) and we will be absolutely delighted to do this for you at no extra charge. Do also let us know if you would like us to add in a note for the lucky recipient too.  (We love reading these little messages you ask us to pass on!)

AND of course, if you would like your order placed in one of our gift bags because that's how you would like to receive it, again, just let us know in the Order Note box at the checkout. 

By reducing our packaging, we not only help put less waste into the environment but there are other, practical reasons behind the decision too. Sending pieces around the globe wrapped in tissue alone means they are lighter, keeping our courier and postal costs lower, and this helps us continue to be able to offer free postage for orders over £120, €120 and $120. Spending less on our packaging also has the further benefit of helping us to keep our prices as fair as possible - something we are passionate about.  

A word about your orders outer packaging 

• Orders sent via FedEx (from our Dublin office) will arrive in their own branded boxes or envelopes that are reusable** 

• Orders sent via DPD (from our Dublin office)  will arrive in a recyclable cardboard box** 

• Orders sent via Royal Mail (from our office in London) will arrive in a recyclable, waterproof bag. 

*We place our mulberry silk pieces sent out in cardboard packaging in a compostable,  clear waterproof sleeve to give added protection. 

** our gift bag is made from recycled paper and is reusable and recyclable.
