The Ethical Silk Company products are designed in Ireland, UK and USA and made at fair trade textiles workshops in South and North India. There are 10 principles to fair trade production that unpins our business philosophy that puts the human factor first.

By partnering with fair trade workshops we, and our customers, can have peace of mind in every aspect of the production of our collections. We limit each print to small-batch runs and repeat collections when demand dictates. Careful pattern placement also minimises wastage during production and any older stock is repurposed into smaller items so each piece of silk is carefully utilised.

We want our customers to enjoy these beautiful silk pieces with the knowledge that they are made to the highest standards in quality and throughout the entire production process.
