Slightly buttery colour, classy pillowcase. As per the description, it has a linen-type texture - not slippery. Definitely makes a difference to hair (reduces frizz). It's not necessarily colder to sleep on, but it regulates temperature better than cotton. Would highly recommend. Anne Marie
